Located in Castle Rock, WA - this small, wholesale bakery produces naturally fermented, hand made, sourdough breads that are full of love!
Kalama Sourdough Bakery started as a homeschooling project when Robert Ahrens was 13. Kalama is a true sourdough. The only ingredients in their Artisan Loaf are Flour, Water, Salt and Sourdough Starter. Kalama uses an old-world, three-day method of fermenting and proofing the dough until it’s just right.
Now, 11 years later, you can find their breads from Vancouver to Tacoma, and in our shop!
